Motorized Antenna Settings

LNB settings described in the following section require significant expertise on satellite systems. Contact an expert about the subject.
Your TV supports DiSEqC 1.2 motorized satellite systems. With this feature, you can control the satellite on your television.
Adjust the satellite antenna position for each satellite. By storing these settings, the antenna can be moved to a previously saved location when needed.
- Press the
to switch to the TV mode.
- Press the
, select Source and press the
.
- Select Satellite option, and press the
.
- Press the
, select Settings and press the
.
- Select Channel option, and press the
.
- Channel menu shall be displayed.
- Select Channel Installation Mode option, and press the
.
- Select Satellite (Standard) or Satellite (Operator Mode)if you are using an operator, and press the
.
- Select Channels option, and press the
.
- Select Automatic Channel Scan option, and press the
.
- A warning message will be displayed.
- Channels in the previous channel search will be deleted and the channel search will be performed again. Select Next and press the
to continue.
- Automatic Channel Scan menu shall be displayed.
- Select Antenna Type option and press the
.
- Antenna Type menu shall be displayed.
- Select DiSEqC 1.2 and press the
.
- Select My Longitude option, and press the
. Then enter your longitude with the .
- Select My Latitude option, and press the
. Then enter your latitude with the .
- Select Next option and press the
.
- Select the satellite you want to search for and press the
.
- Select LNB Settings and press the
.
- Select Motor Settings and press the
.
- Motor Settings menu shall be displayed.
- Select Movement Control and press the
.
- Select the Setting options with the .
- Movement Control: Press the
, select between Nonstop, Step, Timeout and USALS.
- Step: Moves the antenna in the west or east direction by the specified step size.
- Nonstop: Moves the antenna in the west or east direction constantly.
- Step Size: Press the
, select how many steps the antenna should rotate with the .
- Timeout: Press the
, select the timeout period for the rotation of the antenna with the .
- USALS: Select USALS from Movement Control menu. Select Timeout and press the
. Select the option to go to the angle of x.x and press the
.
- Move to East: Adjusts the antenna for selected antenna. To move the antenna to theEast press the
.
- Move to West: Adjusts the antenna for selected antenna. To move the antenna to theWest press the
.
- Stop Movement: Press the
to stop the antenna.
Note:
- When the Motion Control is selected as USALS, the Move to East, Move to West and Stop Movement options are not displayed in the menu.
- To return to the Motor Settings menu, press the
.
- Select the Setting options with the .
- Disable Limits: Removes maximum rotation limits of the antenna.
- Limit East: Sets the limit position that the antenna can turn to east at maximum and allows the antenna to move within the specified limits.
- Limit West: Sets the limit position that the antenna can turn to west at maximum and allows the antenna to move within the specified limits.
- Return to the Automatic Channel Scan menu by pressing the
twice.
- Select Scan Mode and use the to select Full or Network.
- Select Scan Type.
- Select Only Free Channels for unencrypted channels only
- Select Encrypted Channels Only for encrypted channels only
- Select All for all satellite channels.
- Select Store Type.
- Select Only Digital Channels for TV channels only
- Select Only Radio Channels for radio channels only
- Select All for scanning both options.
- To return to the Automatic Channel Scan menu, press the
.
Note:
- Make the settings described in steps 17 to 26 for each satellite you want to scan.
- Select Next option and press the
.
- Automatic Search menu shall be displayed and the search for TV stations shall start.
- Search may take several minutes depending on the number of television stations received.
- Press
to return to the previous menu, press
to return to TV broadcast or press
to return to Home menu.
