Troubleshooting
If the remedies given below do not work, please consult an authorized service/ dealer. Please bear in mind that malfunctions can also be caused by external devices such as video recorders or satellite receivers.
Note:
This is a Class A product. During operation the device can cause radio interference. In this case the user may have to remedy this. Please contact your specialist dealer.
Screen on No Signal message.
- Antenna cable not connected >>> Plug the antenna cable.
Screen on No Channel message.
- Channel scan not performed >>> Perform Channel Scan.
Poor picture contrast.
- Image settings are adjusted incorrectly >>> Adjust the brightness, contrast, colour and advanced image settings.
- Problem with the broadcast >> Test with a different channel.
Interference on the picture and/or sound.
- Interference caused by other devices near the TV set >>> Change the location of the appliance.
Shades, reflections and/or freezing on the image.
- Channel Tuning >>> Perform automatic or manual channel tuning.
- Antenna Setting >>> Have the antenna cable or system inspected.
No color.
- Color density at minimum >>> Increase color setting.
- TV standard setting (if setting option is available) >>> Select the correct color standard.
- Problem with the broadcast >> Test with another channel.
There is picture but no volume.
- Volume at minimum >>> Increase volume.
- Muted >>> Press the mute button or the Volume increase button.
- Problem with the broadcast >> Test with another channel.
Remote control does not operate.
- No optical connection >>> Point the remote control to the TV set.
- Remote control battery level low or batteries discharged >>> Check the batteries, replace them if required.
- Operating condition undefined>>> Switch off the TV by pressing the main power key (if any) or unplugging the mains plug, and leave it off for about 2 minutes.
Picture color is dark in PC mode.
- Image resolution and image frequency in the PC are incorrect >>> Change the setting on the PC (for example, picture resolution 1280 x 768, picture frequency 60Hz)
Warnings about the connection problems on the screen.
- Antenna cable not connected >>> Plug the antenna cable.
- No wireless network connection >>> Check the network connection settings.
- Modem may not have an internet connection or the connection may have a problem >>> Make sure that your modem is connected to the internet.
Videos in video applications are lagging during playback in wireless connection.
- Low Internet connection speed >>> Low Internet connection speed is a problem that is related with the speed of your subscription or a failure in the Internet infrastructure. Contact your Internet service provider.
Videos in video applications are lagging during playback in wired connection.
- Low Internet connection speed >>> Low Internet connection speed is a problem that is related with the speed of your subscription or a failure in the Internet infrastructure. Contact your Internet service provider.
